EmissionsP0420 · WATCH
The rear oxygen sensor swings almost as much as the front one.
A healthy converter keeps the rear sensor steady. Fuel trims are normal and there are no misfires, so it points to a worn catalytic converter.

Safe to drive - worth fixing soon
Your catalytic converter is no longer cleaning the exhaust as well as it should (P0420). It won't strand you or hurt the engine.
What to do first
- 1Have a shop check the catalytic converter soon.
- 2Check that the gas cap is tight and its seal is not cracked.
